Zonar is seeking an experienced, results-driven Strategic Account Director to focus on new accounts within the truck and vocational sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and growing relationships with enterprise-level customers, working closely with senior executives to understand their challenges and offer innovative solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency across their fleets. Your industry expertise will enable you to position Zonar’s offerings as the ideal solution to meet the unique needs of these customers.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new accounts within the truck and vocational sector.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the transportation industry.
- Manage and grow a pipeline of new business opportunities, ensuring effective follow-up to close deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product management, engineering) to align solutions with customer requirements.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new business development opportunities.
- Proactively address customer concerns, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with enterprise customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the truck or vocational sector.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales and managing enterprise accounts.
- Strong understanding of sales cycles, with experience selling complex solutions in the transportation or logistics industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel within assigned territories as needed.
